Yogyakarta, Republiktimes.com – Dalam suasana yang semakin menegangkan terkait kebijakan penerapan Pajak Pertambahan Nilai (PPN) 12% di tahun 2025, masyarakat dari berbagai kalangan menyerukan keadilan dalam pengelolaan pajak dan pendapatan negara. Sorotan tajam kembali diarahkan kepada Pemerintah, khususnya Kementerian Keuangan.
“Jangan malak orang kecil, sama orang kaya letoy!” adalah salah satu seruan yang disampaikan oleh Edo Segara Gustanto, Akademisi sekaligus Peneliti Pusat Kajian dan Analisis Ekonomomi Nusantara. Seruan ini mencerminkan keresahan banyak pihak terhadap kebijakan PPN 12% yang dinilai lebih membebani kelompok masyarakat kecil, sementara pengawasan dan penindakan terhadap orang-orang kaya justru lemah bahkan diberi amnesty (pengampunan) pajak.
Kusfiardi, Ekonom Fine Institute, pemerintah perlu menunjukkan keberpihakan yang jelas kepada masyarakat kecil. “Kita tidak menolak pajak, tetapi keadilan harus ditegakkan. Orang-orang kecil sudah berkontribusi besar dalam roda ekonomi. Kalau mereka terus ditekan, justru daya beli dan kesejahteraan mereka semakin terpuruk. Sebaliknya, banyak perusahaan besar dan konglomerat yang seakan-akan memiliki ruang untuk menghindar dari kewajiban pajak. Hal ini tidak boleh dibiarkan,” tegasnya.
Sementara itu, data yang dirilis oleh CELIOS menunjukkan bahwa hingga saat ini, potensi pajak yang hilang dari praktik penghindaran pajak (tax avoidance) oleh perusahaan besar dan orang-orang kaya mencapai angka triliunan rupiah. Angka ini jauh melebihi pendapatan pajak yang dihasilkan dari pelaku usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM).
Koalisi masyarakat sipil juga menyoroti pentingnya kebijakan yang memihak pada rakyat kecil dan melakukan pengawasan yang lebih ketat terhadap pelaku ekonomi besar. Mereka mendesak Menteri Keuangan untuk memberikan prioritas terhadap isu ini, mengingat dampaknya yang sangat besar terhadap kesejahteraan rakyat dan penerimaan negara.
“Keadilan pajak bukan hanya soal pendapatan negara, tetapi juga soal keberpihakan terhadap kelompok yang lebih lemah. Kita ingin Indonesia maju dengan sistem fiskal yang adil, bukan yang timpang dan hanya berpihak pada kelompok tertentu,” tutup Edo Segara Gustanto.[]
