Istanbul – Presiden Turki, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, telah mengumumkan kemenangan atas Kemal Kilicdaroglu dalam putaran kedua pemilihan presiden Turki. Erdogan berhasil mengungguli dengan selisih empat persen, meskipun penghitungan suara belum selesai. “Kami akan memimpin negara selama lima tahun ke depan,” kata Erdogan kepada para pendukungnya di Istanbul, Turki, seperti dilaporkan oleh AFP pada Senin (29 Mei 2023).
“Dengan izin Allah, kami akan pantas mendapatkan kepercayaan Anda,” tambah Erdogan.
Pernyataan Erdogan dari atas sebuah bus disambut dengan sorak-sorai oleh para pendukungnya yang berkumpul di Istanbul.
Kantor berita negara Anadolu, yang dikutip oleh AFP, melaporkan bahwa Erdogan memimpin persaingan dengan 52,3% suara dalam putaran kedua pemilihan presiden Turki. Angka ini diperkirakan akan memperpanjang masa jabatan Erdogan selama dua periode lagi hingga tahun 2028.
Sebanyak 96% suara telah dihitung. Erdogan telah memperoleh 52,3% suara, sementara lawannya, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, memperoleh 47,7%.

The state news agency Anadolu, cited by AFP, reported that Erdogan was leading the competition with 52.3% of the votes in the second round of the Turkish presidential election. This figure is expected to extend Erdogan’s tenure for two more terms until 2028.
A total of 96% of the votes have been counted. Erdogan has secured 52.3% of the votes, while his opponent Kemal Kilicdaroglu obtained 47.7%.
