Republiktimes.com – Timnas Indonesia harus menyerah 1-0 ketika bertandang ke markas Vietnam Stadion Viet Tri, Phu To, Vietnam, dalam lanjutan ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup. Hasil ini membuat Indonesia dalam posisi bahaya dalam upayanya lolos ke semifinal turnamen antar negara Asia Tenggara ini.
Vietnam dan Indonesia melakukan 5 pergantian di starting line-up guna meraih hasil maksimal pada pertandingan ini. Awal babak pertama, pertandingan langsung berlangsung panas mengingat rivalitas tinggi antar kedua tim, dimana tuan rumah Vietnam menguasai pertandingan dan mengincar gol cepat, sementara Indonesia bermain mengincar serangan balik cepat. Akibat tingginya intensitas pertandingan, tak jarang adu mekanik hingga berujung pelanggaran terjadi. Indonesia yang dikurung sepanjang babak pertama tak mendapat 1 tembakan pun, sementara Vietnam 8 tembakan dengan 2 mengarah ke gawang, namun belum ada gol hingga jeda.
Situasi masih sama di babak kedua, Vietnam masih belum mampu membobol gawang Indonesia, sementara Skuad Garuda masih berupaya menahan gempuran tuan rumah sembari mengandalkan counter attack. Sejumlah pergantian dilakukan oleh kedua tim untuk mengubah jalannya pertandingan, namun gol yang ditunggu baru hadir di menit 77 setelah tendangan keras Kapten Timnas Vietnam, Nguyen Quang Hai gagal diantipasi dengan sempurna oleh Cahya Supriadi, skor 1-0. Indonesia yang tertinggal berusaha untuk keluar menyerang, namun banyaknya kesalahan operan, minim kreativitas serangan, ditambah dengan solidnya pertahanan Vietnam membuat tembakan ke arah gawang sulit tercipta. Skor 1-0 bertahan hingga usai.
Pada konferensi pers pasca laga, Shin Tae Yong melalui media The Thao 247 sebagaimana dilansir Bola Net menyatakan bahwa timnya kalah pengalaman dari tim tuan rumah. “Selamat kepada tim Vietnam dan pelatih Kim Sang Sik atas kemenangan hari ini. Tim saya hari ini memiliki banyak pemain muda. Pertandingan hari ini memiliki kesenjangan antar pemain dalam hal pengalaman,” ujarnya.
Sementara dari sisi Vietnam, Pelatih Kim Sang Sik menuturkan rasa puasnya atas hasil pertandingan ini. “Hari ini saya sangat puas dengan penampilan seluruh tim kami. Di pertandingan sebelumnya (vs Indonesia), kami tidak mendapatkan hasil yang bagus dan saya semakin senang karena tidak ada pemain kami yang cedera hari ini,” ucapnya dilansir Bola Net. Kim Sang Sik juga menyampaikan bahwa timnya sempat kesulitan menghadapi pertahanan berlapis Indonesia masih melalui Bola Net. “Tim Indonesia bertahan dengan rapat hari ini dan mereka benar-benar membuat kami kesulitan mencetak gol di babak pertama. Di babak kedua, kami bekerja keras untuk mencetak gol dan kami berhasil melakukan itu,” ujarnya.
Hasil ini membuat Vietnam naik ke puncak klasemen Grup B ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2024, sementara Indonesia ada di runner-up. Skuad Garuda akan kembali bermain di Solo melawan Filipina di pertandingan terakhir. Laga ini wajib dimenangkan oleh anak asuh Shin Tae Yong jika ingin lolos ke semifinal.
